Chicharito has joined up with the Mexico squad in the USA to play in his first Gold Cup, which begins with a clash against El Salvador in Arlington, Texas on Sunday.
And at a press conference he summarised his 2010/11 campaign for the Reds, but warned that his focus would be entirely on El Tri thereafter.
"Out of respect for my club and the Mexico team, I will not touch the subject of United from now on, but you can ask what you want today," he stated.

"It has been surprising because I was not expected to play much, never mind score goals. So simply being able to play 90 minutes in my first year in a Champions League final against Barcelona is a big thing."
It’s taking time for Hernandez to come to terms with the fact that he is the new shining light of Mexican football, but he promises he will do his best to fulfil the expectations of fans in his homeland.
"I'm not flying the flag for Mexican football," he insisted. I just come to work and try my hardest to be professional and to give everything for this shirt, because I am representing my country."
